What is the Plains to Peaks Collective (PPC)
The Plains to Peaks Collective (PPC) brings together (aggregates) descriptive information about collection material from libraries, archives, historical societies and museums in Colorado and Wyoming, and makes it freely available to the world. It is a service of the Colorado State Library in partnership with the Wyoming State Library.
As a Digital Public Library (DPLA) Service Hub, the PPC also shares this descriptive information with the DPLA’s national platform that includes other state DPLA hubs.

Who is Frontier?
Frontier is the name given to our PPC logo – the ubiquitous Colorado/Wyoming pronghorn.

We chose the pronghorn to be our symbol because of its characteristics—independent, resilient, and stalwart, yet with the capacity to join together to create a larger and more powerful presence when warranted.
